OUR STORY

Our Babe Kombucha Journey began in sunny San Diego, driven by our passions for health, wellness, and positive vibes. It all started when two buddies, Vinnie & Charles' remarkable grandmother, a true surf-loving neighbor from Mission Beach.

Carol and Marco had a dream of living in the USA, so Vinnie, Carol's brother, invited them to join this adventure. They sold everything they had and jumped in with full energy. Their arrival not only brought financial support but also a wealth of knowledge and dedication.

Fate brought Travis and Vinnie together at one of the first events Babe participated in. Travis was on a bicycle trip to Canada and mentioned that the would get in touch when he returned to San Diego. From this unexpected encounter, Travis began contributing his expertise in homebrewed kombucha and eventually became the brewmaster and parter of our company.

In 2007, we started with a small tasting room to serve the community and introduce a delicious, more approachable kombucha. The tasting room acted as our R&D lab, where we perfected our brews and identified the flavors we wanted to focus on distributing. We started small, experimenting with flavors until we found our winning combinations.

Armed with our flagship brews, we made a strong impact in SoCal, eventually expanding to a bigger facility and now serving the entire nation. Throughout our journey, we've stayed true to our roots, brewing with top-notch ingredients and a sustainable ethos. Grandma Babe's legacy lives on in every can, ensuring our vibe remains authentic and our taste impeccable.

Now, expanding beyond kombucha, we're venturing into the yerba mate game, remaining loyal to our mission of offering healthier options with a kick. Babe Beverages in the culmination of a passion project that evolved into a business as family and friends united over a shared commitment to healthy living.
